In the interest of "encouraging" more people (not just our normal developers) fix bugs, Andrew Stitt has proposed a bug fixing contest. The current rewards are 50USD for first, 35USD for second, and 15USD for third place.

These amounts will increase (and possibly more awards) as funds for this contest increase. So, if you're interested in helping out with a Linux project, want a way to get some QA experience on your resume, or just want some quick cash, let us know! I'll post more once the contest has been finalized, but we would like to know how many participants we will be having so we can determine the number of bugs to put in the pool, the time to complete the contest, who we need to judge, and any prize distribution changes. ;)
