The A. Clark lab in the Department of Chemistry is looking for a computer
scientist to create new features within a graphical user interface built
using GTK in C++.

Description of work:
The Aurora Clark lab has written software which fits mathematical
expressions of a molecular potential energy surface to data from electronic
structure programs. You will be responsible for extending the functionality
and making further improvements to the software. This includes implementing
new quantum mechanical data importers, new fitting and minimization
routines, and extending and building new user interfaces. You will be
collaborating with chemists and mathematicians in developing new algorithms.

This will be a timeslip appointment, at a pay rate of $15/hr.

Interested students should email Aurora Clark (auclark@wsu.edu) to set up an
interview.
