So we've all heard the old stories of the Ant and the Grasshopper, The Boy Who Cried Wolf, and The Tortoise and the Hare. Today in IRC, the idea came up to write a series of fables patterned on Aesop's Fables, just with a more modern perspective.
Well, here it is! I present the SysOp's FablesDoes anyone have a suggestion for a better name? project for your amusement. I'll get the ball rolling tonight by posting The Boy Who Cried Troll tonight. Click the read more link below to get to the table of contents listing all the fables.
If you want to contribute (and you know you want to!), just choose the fable content type when posting your story and I'll collect it underneath this introduction. Please note that by posting your fable, you are required to assign the copyright to the WSU Linux Users Group and license it under the Creative Commons license. You also agree not to get pissy if I edit it for readability.
Here's some of the original fables to help you out: http://www.aesopfables.com/aesopsel.html

Where is the "read more" link?
Re: SysOp's Fables
My bad. I accidentally removed the module and wiped out the setup. You can read the story now. Feel free to submit your own too!
