WSU Gaming groups. :)

Hi all,

After talking to a few people I've heard interest in gaming (D&D, GURPS, Shadowrun, Magic: The Gathering, Munchkins, LARP, etc.). I was there for the forming of WSU-RPGA where we had lots of fun. ;) Then most of the key movers graduated and/or moved on and it kind of died. A few years later the few remaining people renamed it to WSU-GAMING to be more generic (not just RP games, but also computer games, board games, etc.). It's been a bit slow-going, but there are interested people who're looking for some games.

Enlightenment 17

For those of you interested in e17 you may like Get-E's User Guide. The Get-E site also has some nice icons and themes. If you'd like to check out E17 (or any other window manager) let us know and we can setup a demo on the dual-head machine in the LUG Office. :) We could also do a few presentations on window managers if people would be interested in seeing what's out there.

Yumex and Fedora/Redhat

If you're ever going to use Fedora and/or Redhat, you'll want to check out Yum Extender, a front-end to YUM. Heck, you'll even want to familiarize yourself with Yellow Dog updater, Modified. These two tools make Fedora/Redhat more usable and me less likely to curse every time I have to use one of those boxes.

Thanks colby!
